I know I know I know…Instagram has a ton a features and it can often times feel overwhelming which one to use! So today I’m breaking down the purpose of each!
REELS: If you’re wanting to grow your following and ATTRACT new customers to your profile, reels is where it’s at. Make sure to keep them business related! There’s nothing worse than getting an influx of new followers from a reel that are not interested in your product or service.
INSTAGRAM STORIES: This is where you humanize your business, build relationships, create your know, like, and trust AND eventually SELL.
HIGHLIGHTS: This is your business card. Your first 5 highlights are your opportunity to explain who you are, what your business is about, and how your audience can buy from you.
GUIDES: Guides are great to organize your posts by theme so that your audience can binge content that they are interested in over others. I like to organize these by content pillars to keep things crystal clear.
FEED POSTS: Posts and pictures create the overall vibe of your Instagram brand and page. These are great for storytelling and creating a deeper connection through your copywriting with your audience.
IGVT: I love going live to educate my audience on a specific topic and really establish authority and credibility in my space. Going live with other creators in your space is another great way to use the platform and increase brand awareness to similar audiences.
