Let's WERK it

Lets get down to business.

This past weekend, I had one of those full-circle moments that stop you right in your tracks.

I flew to Vancouver for a private client weekend — two days of strategy, expansion, and connection with my client and my team. But this trip wasn’t just business.

It was deeply personal.

Because Vancouver isn’t just another city to me.
It’s the city that built me.
But it’s also the city that almost broke me.

✨ The Years That Built Me

For eight years, Vancouver was my everything.
It’s where I learned how to build, lead, and scale multi-million-dollar businesses.
It’s where I found my ambition, my edge, and my hunger.

But it’s also where I lost pieces of myself.

I spent years hustling in corporate — working 12-hour days, juggling three to five side hustles at once, trying to prove my worth, and constantly chasing the next big thing.

I was always on.
Always grinding.
Always trying to do more, be more, achieve more.

And yet… I was exhausted.
Overworked, underpaid, and undervalued.
Told not to shine “too bright.”
Told I wasn’t ready.
Told I couldn’t do this on my own.

Vancouver was where I learned everything about success — and everything about burnout.
It was where I lost friendships, confidence, and sometimes even my sense of self.
Where money felt impossible to make and way too easy to spend.

💼 The Woman I Used to Be

If you had told that version of me that one day I’d be running a 7-figure online business, mentoring hundreds of women around the world, and leading a team that I adore and trust — I would’ve laughed in your face.

Back then, I couldn’t even imagine freedom.
I was so deep in the grind that I didn’t know what ease even felt like.

But somewhere in all that chaos… I decided to bet on myself.

I walked away from corporate.
I stopped building other people’s dreams and started building my own.
And I promised myself that one day, I’d create a business — and a life — that felt free.

🖤 The Full-Circle Moment

Fast forward five years.

I’m standing in a gorgeous hotel suite overlooking the ocean.
My laptop’s open.
There’s champagne on the table.
And next to me are two incredible women — my team.

And the best part?
They’re the same women who once sat beside me in that Vancouver office — back when we were all grinding for someone else’s dream.

Now, they work with me.
We’re building something together.

We spent two full days brainstorming, strategizing, mapping out offers, refining systems, and dreaming up what’s next.

We laughed, we cried, we celebrated, we played.
And in the middle of it all, I had this moment — where I looked around and thought:

“This is what I used to dream about.”

🌙 What I Learned From Coming Back

That weekend reminded me of so much.

💡 What you pour in will always come back.
Even if it doesn’t happen overnight. Even if it looks different than you thought. The energy, effort, and love you give to your vision always find their way back.

💡 Gratitude changes everything.
When you truly appreciate where you are — even in the messy middle — you create space for more to flow in.

💡 You are never behind.
Every single chapter — even the hard ones — is part of your becoming.

Because if Vancouver taught me anything, it’s that struggle can be sacred.
The lessons you learn in the grind prepare you for the greatness that’s coming.

💫 For The Woman Reading This…

If you’re in a season where it feels heavy…
If you’re questioning whether all the effort, energy, and sacrifice are worth it…
If you’re wondering when it’s your turn

Please, don’t give up.

Keep going.
Keep showing up.
Keep believing in your vision, even when no one else does yet.

Because one day — you’ll look around and realize —
you’re living what you used to pray for.

And when that day comes, you’ll finally understand why it all had to happen the way it did.
