For so many of us entrepreneurs — especially women — the journey of building a business can feel isolating at times.
We’re working toward big visions that not everyone in our old circles understands.
And yet — one of the most powerful things you can do for your life AND your business is to build a circle of aligned friendships that support your growth.
I was reminded of this again recently when I hosted a birthday party for one of my closest friends.
As I looked around the room — filled with ambitious, empowered women who truly support each other — I realized:
I finally found my people.
And I want this for YOU too.
So how do you find these friendships? How do you build a circle that expands you rather than drains you?
Here are a few of my best lessons and tips:
✨ Invest in spaces where aligned women gather. Events, masterminds, coaching containers — this is where many of my best friendships started.
✨ Be willing to be vulnerable first. Friendships require effort and heart. DM that woman you admire. Ask someone to grab coffee. Go first.
✨ Audit your current circle. If your relationships aren’t supporting your big dreams, it’s okay to create space for new ones. Not every friendship is meant to last forever.
✨ Be the kind of friend you want to have. Celebrate others. Show up fully. Support their vision. The energy you give is what you’ll attract.
✨ Remember that aligned friendships can change everything. Your people will help you rise higher than you could alone.
